About software

All software in KZM-A9-Dual board is provided WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY.

OMF and SGX libraries are not included in this release. To get them, please contact to Renesas Electronics Corporation. (OMF: Hardware accelerated CODEC. SGX: 3D Graphics Engine)

Prebuilt Android is stored in eMMC on KZM-A9-Dual. To try this, set DIP switch to eMMC boot mode.

Factory default is

    DSW1-1: OFF
    DSW1-2: OFF
    DSW1-3: ON
    DSW1-4: ON
    DSW1-5: ON
    DSW1-6: ON
    DSW1-7: OFF
    DSW1-8: OFF

DSW2 is user defined.

Boot from eMMC

    DSW1-3: ON
    DSW1-4: OFF

Boot from SD card

    DSW1-3: OFF
    DSW1-4: ON

Boot from NOR flash

    DSW1-3: ON
    DSW1-4: ON
    and 4 bank swapping by DSW1-7, DSW1-8

Serial console setting　シリアルコンソール

115200 baud, 8bit, Non parity, Stop bit 1

Key assignment　キーの割り当て

When running Android, keys on board are assigned:

on LCD board

    SW4: Back 
    SW5: Up, Down, Left, Right and Enter
    SW6: Menu

on main board

    SW1: not used
    SW2: Home
    SW3: Search
    SW4: Hardware Reset

When system goes down suspend mode, push SW2 to resume.

Known issues　既知の問題

Power management(suspend/resume) is still unstable.

To avoid suspend, please set in "Settings" in Android

    Applications > Development > Stay awake

linux driver for HDMI is not yet supported.

No linux driver for Analog video capture in NTSC.
